Dr. Ron is the Managing Director of Israel Healthcare Ventures Ltd., a venture capital fund dedicated to providing venture capital investment to Israeli life sciences companies. Dr. Ron has extensive medical, legal and management experience gained in senior positions in a range of insurance companies, law firms, medical and educational institutions. She also serves on the boards of numerous medical companies. Dr. Ron holds MD and LLB degrees from Tel Aviv University and has studied at the School of Business Administration at Tel Aviv University and has taken advanced courses at Boston University School of Medicine.
Prof. Moshe Many MD, Ph.D.
Professor of Surgery at Tel Aviv University, formerly, Chairman of Urology at Sheba Medical Center and later, President of Tel Aviv University. Presently Prof. Many serves on the Board of Directors of Teva Pharmaceuticals and is Chairman of its R&D committee.
Meron Mann
Meron Mann joined GI View's board in June 2006 after serving key positions at Teva Pharmaceutical Industries during the last 28 years. During 2002-2005 Mr. Mann served as the President and CEO of Teva pharmaceutical Europe and before that during 12 years the President and CEO of the API Division (Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients). 1978-2000 he was teaching and lecturing at Tel Aviv University , Industrial and Management faculty , Adjacent to Teacher faculty. He holds a B.Sc. degree from Tel Aviv University in Industrial and Management Engineering and M.Sc. in Industrial Engineering from the Technion Haifa .
Zvi Limon
Zvi Limon joined GI View's board in June 2006. He is a general partner of Rimon Investment Fund, and a special venture partner of Magnum Venture Capital. Mr Limon has been an active investor in Israeli public and private companies since 1990. He is a board member of 2 NASDAQ traded companies, DSPG Inc and Ceva LTD, as well as other private companies. His background includes management consulting at Bain &Co. in London and Shaldor Ltd in Israel. He is 47 and holds an MBA degree from INSEAD and a BA degree in business and economics from Bar Ilan University.
Shimon Weintraub
Director and formerly CEO of Brack Capital Holdings. Mr. Weintraub is an experienced businessman with vast experience in hi-tech and real estate.
Eitan Machover
Eitan Machover joined the GE Corporate Audit Staff in 1989, spending three years working with various GE businesses, and later joining GE Capital Corporate Finance Group as a Valuation and Portfolio Manager. In 1994, Mr. Machover moved from the US to Europe and held a number of business development positions with GE Capital in The UK and Israel. In 1997, he moved to GE Medical Systems in Paris as a Manager of Business Development. In this position, he initiated the GE Medical Systems acquisition activities of Healthcare Services companies and their integration into GE.
Mr. Machover served on the board of GE Medical Systems Israel, Ltd. as well as several other medical portfolio companies. In May 1999, he was appointed National Executive for GE Corporate in Israel with responsibilities for the company's overall operations and growth in the country.
In 2003 Eitan started Meditech Advisors, LLC with a number of GE colleagues. Meditech has been involved in advising and funding a number of Healthcare companies and are now operating as Private Equity fund by the name of Ziegler Meditech Equity Partners.
Benad Goldwasser MD, MBA, Co-founder
Benad is a professor of surgery turned entrepreneur. He was involved in a number of start-up medical device companies from their inception including Medinol Ltd., Vidamed Inc. and Rita Medical Inc. (the two latter publicly traded on the Nasdaq). Benad was managing director of an Israeli venture capital company which he co-founded with Teva Pharmaceuticals and Arison Investments.
