Tal Simchony, PhD joined GI View Ltd. as Chief Executive Officer bringing with him fifteen years of expansive business experience in C level positions such as President of DSP Group, and COO of ECI Telecom and Metalink Transmission Devices. Tal served as board member of ECI Telecom ECTEL and Metalink and other medium, fast moving Startup companies in the Telecommunications and Semi conductor Industries. Dr. Simchony founded Veraz Networks through a merger between ECI NGTS LTD. and Nexverse in San Jose, California and led the global organization as CEO. In addition to his vast experience in the Telecommunications and Semiconductor Industries, he was also a Member of the founding management team of Spine21, a medical device company developing a Bionic Spacer for the treatment of lumbar spinal stenosis, where he serves now as a board member.
Tal holds a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Southern California and undergraduate and master degrees in Mathematics and Computer Science Magna Cum Laude from Tel Aviv University in Israel. Tal is a recipient of a Fulbright Scholarship.
Ms. Sharon Goldfarb-Albak, Vice President Regulatory and Clinical
Sharon joined the company with over 8 years of extensive experience both in regulatory affairs and clinical trial management. In the past she worked for regulatory consulting companies as well as various medical device companies in the capacity of regulatory/clinical specialist and at Sightline Technologies Ltd. which became Stryker GI, as Medical Director/Regulatory Specialist.While working for Sightline Technologies/Stryker, Sharon spent 5 years running all regulatory and clinical affairs which included obtaining various regulatory approvals such as FDA clearance and the management of successful clinical studies in Israel, Europe and the USA for a new type of colonoscope. Sharon holds a B.Sc in Life Sciences from the Tel Aviv University, Israel.
Ms. Osnat Michaeli, Chief Financial Officer
Osnat Michaeli joined GI View in the capacity of Chief Financial Officer.Osnat has 15 years of experience in financial and operational management positions in the high-tech industry in Israel with large companies such as HP, NUR Macroprinters, Sapiens and others with practical hands-on experience in different fields. Prior to GI View Osnat was part of the team that handled the acquisition of NUR by HP and led the integration of the financial departments thereafter. Osnat holds BA in Economics and MBA, (major: Finance &Insurance), both from Tel Aviv University.
Ze'ev Lichtenstein VP Product Management
Ze'ev Lichtenstein joinedGI View Ltd. as VP Product Management bringing with him vast experience in R&D and Product Management in the high-tech Telecom and Medical Device industries.Ze'ev worked in several startups and established companies like Orbot Instruments, ECI Telecom and Bigband Networks. As VP Product Management of Bigband Networks, a video networking company, Ze'ev built and managed the product management team from the company's very early days to market success and IPO. Ze'ev is also a Member of the founding team of Spine21, a medical device company developing a Bionic Spacer for the treatment of lumbar spinal stenosis.
Ze'ev holds a B.Sc. EE (Magna Cum Laude) from Tel Aviv University and an M.Sc. EE from the University of Southern California.
