The Aer-O-Scope Colonoscope system is designed to be a safe, easy-to-use solution for GI clinics and hospital outpatient departments to effectively screen more patients. It is designed to both ensure easy visualization behind haustral folds and to exert less pressure on the colon wall for a safe procedure. The single-use device is designed to eliminate the risk of disease transmission.
This breakthrough in the use of pneumatic technology enables motion within the colon with a thin multi-lumen cable and two balloons. Motion is adjusted by regulating low gas pressure automatically to assure easy intubation.
Ergonomic joystick control with automatic pneumatic pressure management makes intubation and navigation very intuitive and easy to master.
The Aer-O-Scope colonoscope scanner is a single-use disposable device that significantly reduces the risk of disease transmission and eliminates the need for time-consuming and costly cleaning and sterilization.
The Aer-O-Scope omni-view technology allows true 360° vision with no gaps, enabling visualization of the colonic mucosa, including behind the colonic folds, in a single view.
The Aer-O-Scope system has two working channels that enable therapeutic access using standard tools, such as snares and forceps, to take biopsies or perform polypectomies.
With complete control of the optical imaging head, the mucosa can be viewed from the optimal angle even in sharp curves of the colon. The radial joystick steering together with the 360° omni-directional visualization, allows the clinician to be better oriented within the colon at all times so that navigation is intuitive.
