Colorectal cancer (CRC) is the number two cause of cancer related death in most countries of the world.
CRC is the only cancer which is almost entirely preventable by early detection and removal of polyps, benign lesions that can degenerate into colorectal cancer over a 5-10 year period.
Currently, however, compliance with screening colonoscopy is alarmingly low.
